Recharge Master Plans and Basin Testing and Monitoring
 WEI helped pioneer the recharge master plan concept, creating specialized monitoring and analytical tools to estimate recharge and recharge quality. The firm handles all aspects of design, testing, and operation of recharge basins, including concept development, exploratory drilling, preliminary design, operation plan design, operational monitoring, and forensic testing. WEI has developed a series of simulation models that are used to estimate potential storm and supplemental water recharge and to design recharge systems for an entire watershed. Additionally, WEI specializes in the design of monitoring wells and lysimeters; typically supervising and assisting in the construction of these monitoring facilities.
