Mr. Cordova has fifteen years of professional experience as a field technician. His expertise includes groundwater and surface water quality sample collection, measuring stream discharge, measuring water levels, Westbay System® groundwater monitoring instruments, well development, well abandonment, pump testing, water level transducer installation and maintenance, air quality sampling, and site remediation.
Prior to joining Wildermuth Environmental, Inc. (WEI), Mr. Cordova’s professional experience was largely focused on site remediation, including the supervision of soil removal and sampling subcontractors at various oil fields; performing environmental probing and sampling using direct-push technology at more than 500 hazardous waste sites in Arizona, California, and Nevada; the direct injection of chemical compounds (e.g. Oxygen Release Compound [ORC®]) for the in-situ remediation of petroleum hydrocarbons; the installation of pump & treat and soil vapor extraction remediation systems; and the installation of small-diameter wells for monitoring and other remediation activities.
In 2005, Mr. Cordova joined WEI, bringing his vast environmental field experience to the firm. As a Field Technician, he has provided field support for the following projects: the Chino Basin Recycled Water Recharge Program, the Hydraulic Control Monitoring Program, and several San Timoteo Watershed Management Authority and Beaumont Basin Watermaster investigations. In addition to performing field duties, Mr. Cordova assists WEI scientists in coordinating field efforts with other WEI Field Technicians and works closely with WEI scientists to ensure the quality of samples and field data. Mr. Cordova works out of the WEI field office in Ontario, CA.
