Samantha Stevens

Ms. Stevens has four years of professional experience in the water resources industry. Her technical expertise includes surface and groundwater quality analysis, field monitoring program management, regulatory compliance reporting, database management, water supply and demand analysis, and Geographical Information Systems (GIS).

As a Staff Scientist in the Environmental Science Department at Wildermuth Environmental, Inc. (WEI), Ms. Stevens coordinates and implements WEI’s field services programs, manages groundwater and surface water data collection programs, writes quarterly and annual regulatory compliance reports for various clients, and is actively involved in the development of HydroDaVE (Hydrologic Database and Visual Explanations), a software application that enables professionals to remotely visualize and analyze groundwater level and quality data that are stored in a SQL database maintained by WEI.

Ms. Stevens received a B.S. in Environmental Science with a minor in Anthropology from the University of Notre Dame in 2002 and a Master of Environmental Science and Management from the Donald Bren School of Environmental Science & Management at the University of California, Santa Barbara in 2006. As part of an M.E.S.M. group project team, she played a key role in designing a Framework for Developing a Sustainable Water Resources Management Plan for San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico. Ms. Stevens was awarded the 2006 Academic Achievement Award by the faculty of the Donald Bren School.
